Ladder Trader publishes research, analytics, and data about digital-asset market structure. All content is general in nature, does not take into account any person’s objectives, financial situation, or needs, and is not investment, legal, or tax advice or a recommendation to transact in any asset.
02Digital-asset risk
Digital assets are highly volatile and can lose some or all of their value. Markets operate continuously, may be thinly traded or fragmented across venues, and can be affected by technical failures, security incidents, regulatory action, and sudden changes in liquidity. Leveraged and derivative products can result in losses exceeding the amount invested.
03Live market data
Live prices, order books, trades, and charts on the website are sourced from Kraken’s public market data interfaces and are processed in your browser. They reflect a single venue, may be delayed, incomplete, interrupted, or inaccurate, and are not suitable for trading or valuation purposes. Computed figures, such as volatility, correlation, spread, depth, and imbalance, depend on the data received and on the methodology described alongside them.
04Samples and illustrative content
Dataset previews marked “Live” are generated from public market data at the moment of viewing. Previews marked “Illustrative” show example schemas with example values that demonstrate format only and do not describe actual market conditions or the contents of any specific release.
05Past performance and models
Historical data and analysis do not predict future results. Statistical relationships, such as correlations, volatility regimes, and order-book signals, change over time and can break down, particularly during market stress. Models involve assumptions and limitations that are described in our research where relevant.
06Independence and conflicts
Our research views are formed by the research desk using documented methods. Ladder Trader and its personnel may hold digital assets discussed in our research. We maintain policies intended to prevent such holdings from influencing published research.
